The local church should not be like a cruise liner where you have a captain, a crew and then everyone else is just along for the ride. It should be far more like a battle cruiser or a fishing trawler where everyone has a role to play in the ship running smoothly. Every member of the church has a vital part to play in the furthering of God’s kingdom here on earth.
