Lord, I Ask

Calm for the worried mind
Peace for the anxious heart
Strength for the weary days
Direction from my crooked ways
Lord I ask
Hope for the helpless hours
Joy for the sad and lost
Truth for those led astray
Light for the darkest day
Lord I ask
Health for the frail and ill
Comfort for all who grieve
Faith for those who doubt
Provision for those without
Lord I ask

Healing for those in pain
Rest for those on the go
Mercy for the stumbling
Grace for the grumbling
Lord I ask
