Daily Ingratitude

Forgive me my daily ingratitude. I wake each morning to a treasure trove renewed. My sight is worth more than rubies, my mind more than a kings ransom. Is not my life more precious than a country’s riches and yet I fail to give you thanks O God. Forgive me that I have become dulled to all that I receive from you each day! Awake my senses and stir my gratitude for all you provide for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
