Let Go

The more we strive, the more we try, the more we will realise that what we can give will never be enough. We will never be able to love enough, care enough, give enough or take on enough. There will always be situations beyond our control that we don’t have the ability to sort out. There are illnesses that we cannot cure, pain that we cannot take away and sadness that is beyond our reach. What we need to come to realise is that where we will never be enough, God is more than sufficient. Many times we simply need to let go and place that circumstance or person or event into the loving and capable hands of God. It doesn’t mean that we don’t still play our part, it doesn’t mean to we don’t care, it simply means that we realise that what we can do is not enough and that there is someone far more capable and loving than us that is there to help.
