Philippians 4: 4-9 God’s antidote to worry, anxiety and fear. Part 9.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

So we have given our worries, anxieties and fears to God. We’ve prayed about them with thanksgiving. We’ve left them with God and trusted Him with them. We’ve received His peace and he has placed an army around our hearts to protect it. So, now we need to stop those thoughts from coming back. God tells us here how to do just that. When we’ve cleared our minds of our worries we fill our mind with good things. We no longer need to focus on our anxieties we can now focus on the things in our life that are good and pure, noble, lovely, admirable and praiseworthy. A mind that is full of such things has no room for worry, anxiety and fear.
