Helpless

It is easy to feel helpless when things around you fall apart. When illness strikes and you don’t have the ability to cure it, when friends hurt and you can’t take the pain away, when terrorists strike and there is nothing you can do. We are, in the most part, helpless, but God is not. God is still in control of a world full of pain, suffering, illness, madness and confusion. We can take our friends to God, we can take our concerns to God, we can take our world to God. He has the ability to help where we can’t. He is in control, He cares and He will act.
