Lord, today I hold on to your promises. Your promise never to leave me, your promise that I’m forgiven, your promise that you love me unconditionally, your promise that I am your child, your promise that you work everything for good for those who love you, that you live within my heart, that you are preparing a place for me, that I am free, that you are my refuge and strong tower, that you fight for me and will overcome my enemies, that you will lead me, guide me and provide for all my needs. Father I thank you for these and so many more. Help me to cling onto them each day and to not only believe the words but to live in their reality. Amen.
