Success, as the world sees it, depends on many factors. It depends on your hard work, other people, circumstances, opportunities and so on. Success as God sees it depends on just one thing – YOU! Success is totally in your hands – within your grasp. Success as God sees it is about the development of your character. Success is becoming more like Jesus. Success in God’s eyes is not about what you achieve for Him it’s about who you are. Whatever our background, whatever our circumstances, whatever the world flings at us we always have the option of how to react. Will we react in a Godly way or a fleshly way? Will we display love, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness and self-control or will be display anger, impatience, selfishness, harshness, bitterness, grumpiness and so on. Lord, help us to be more like Jesus everyday!
