Notre Dame
The flames may have destroyed the building
But the Church remains
The structure may have fallen
But the founder has risen
The fire has consumed and devoured
But faith continues
The blaze has been extinguished
But the fire in our hearts burns bright
The smoke still rises
But the cross shines through
All may seem lost
But love holds strong
The beauty of the windows is no more
But His radiant light pours forth
His house lies in tatters
But God stands firm
Up from the ashes
The risen Christ is alive
