What was Jesus like? part six

Peter was a fisherman. He made his living catching fish. It was hard work and sometimes fruitless. He met Jesus after a night of catching nothing at all. Under Jesus’ instruction though he caught two fishing boats full of fish. A fortune of fish. The New Testament equivalent of winning the lottery. Yet he left every last fish in order to follow Jesus. What sort of man can lure somebody away from that sort of wealth with just a few words? Peter put up no protest, Peter didn’t try and persuade him to join his fishing crew and become rich together, Peter left everything and followed Jesus. Peter knew, here was someone worth giving up everything for. Surely someone worth finding out about?
