Genesis 37 and 39-41
The story of Joseph.
I love the story of Joseph. For me, the story tells us that whatever circumstances we get ourselves into, whatever circumstances get thrust upon us, however bleak our situation is, God can turn it around in a moment. From Prison to Prime Minister is some jump, and one that most of us will never make; but from unemployed to employed, addicted to not addicted, from poor to rich, from unhappy to joy-filled. These are turnarounds that God engineers every day. If we are faithful, if we look to Him, He can and does do miraculous things for us.
