Don’t be known for what you’re against, be known for what you believe in. Be known for grace, mercy, love, care, kindness, honesty, compassion, generosity, peace, reconciliation, wisdom, humility, justice and more besides. Don’t tell the world what you’re against. show the world what you are for.
Step back into the heart of God where He longs to love and care for you. He wants to build you up and restore you, to make you whole and fearless. God wants the best for you and will steer you away from danger and temptation if you follow His ways.
Our churches need to be a lots less full of judgement and moral superiority and a lot more full of grace, mercy and love. Let us not denounce and judge people but honour them, exalt them, comfort them, encourage them, care for them, equip them and pour out God’s grace upon them.
