Crucified
You don’t get crucified for being a middle-of-the-road, do-gooder who taught a moderate faith. You get crucified for being radical in all you do, from being radically out-spoken to being radically loving of all. The same is true of persecution.
Wealth
If we measure our wealth by our bank balance and our possessions we will always be poor. If, however, we measure it by our family, friends and faith and invest in these things we will be as rich as anyone on earth.
Anchored
Unless our faith is anchored in the person of Jesus Christ himself, and not on the teachings of a particular church or preacher, then the wind and waves of this world will eventual sink our faith.
