Lord, teach us to see you in all we do. Help us to learn more of you in each circumstance we face. May you be our teacher and we your attentive pupils. Help us  to trust you as our teacher, to follow your instruction and to look to you for guidance at all times. Amen

There are days when you do not need prayer or the Bible to help you be more Christ-like. God sends us people and circumstances to teach us patience, kindness, love, endurance, grace, mercy, joy, gentleness and a whole host of other things. God loves it when we read His Word and speak to Him but

Lord, please teach me the difference between being child-like and childish, between being humble and being self-deprecating, between being meek and being walked over, between having passion and being over zealous.
